The Beginning

Proverbs 1:7 says “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” If things are not going well in your day and life, you might try going back to the beginning.  If you begin your day by “Fearing God”… in other words reverencing God and submitting your day to Him. Asking Him to fill you afresh with His love.  To wash your mind and perspective with your Word….Then you will be set to walk in knowledge and wisdom that comes from God and not yourself.

I don’t know about you, but I need to get my mind and my perspective scrubbed every day.  Really, I first began to know my desperate need to be filled by God on a daily basis when I was a young mom with babies.  The intensity of being needed all the time by a baby or pulled on all day by a toddler caused me to seek harder after God.  No, I was not a natural at being a mom, I needed God to show me and help me with the intimate details of my life… Fearing Him… reverancing Him in my daily life.

Begin with God and you will walk in fresh wisdom and insight that causes you to impact the lives of others.
