Renewed Strength

“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” Isaiah 40:31.

Have you every felt so weary you didn’t know how you were going to get through your day?

I was talking to a mom with two children who is pregnant with her third that is sooo tired…. She had forgotton how tired she felt when she was pregnant. I remember being so tired when I was pregnant that I turned the shower on then laid down on the floor to rest because I was too tired to crawl in the shower.

Isaiah 40:31 says “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah is talking about more than just being physically tired, he is talking about a weariness that comes on us when we are going through tough things. He also gives us a key to renewed strength: Hope… And not just any type of hope — but hope anchored in the Lord. This type of God-hope will so renew your strength that you can soar like an eagle and accomplish all that God has called you to.

Today, If you are weary, put your hope in God and soar in His strength.
