Commit Wholeheartedly

Have you ever noticed that it takes a consistent effort to teach your children the ways of God?

Deuteronomy 11:18-19 says “So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up” (NLT).

Our children are going to know if we are committed wholeheartedly to the Word, Will and Ways of God by how we interact with them on a daily basis.  Are you in conversation with them as you drive down the road? Are you applying the word to daily situations that they ask you about. Are you talking about Christian Values and encouraging them to grow in their own convictions?

Let your life preach the goodnews in word and deed.
