Sue Detweiler interviews Teasi Cannon, Part 2

As a former middle school teacher, women’s public speaker, and survivor of a lifelong emotional battle with her body, Teasi Cannon is no stranger to body angst. But after experiencing a profound healing, she now loves what she sees in the mirror, and encourages women of all ages to join her in making this powerful switch: Rather than aching to change how we look, let’s allow God to change how we see.

As an author of her book called My Big Bottom Blessing, Teasi delivers an inspiring message to all women—one of healing and godly empowerment. Teasi is married to her best friend, Bill Cannon, who is the Children’s Pastor at their church in Franklin, Tennessee.  Bill and Teasi have three awesome children: Carli, Ben, and Sam. You can find out more information at www.teasicannon.com.

Thank you so much for sharing this message with Women, especially women in the body of Christ! Body issues hold so many of us back from doing the work we have been called to do.

      Tracy,
As I have read Teasi’s book I have been amazed at the subtle trick of the enemy to make us stumble and hold us back from what God is calling us to. It is so important that we raise our children to recognize the enemy’s lies and walk in security in who they are in Christ.

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. I have been practicing this with my son, who is only 9 months. It was nice to hear that Teasi has done this too 🙂
